Selection process

Girl Icon Fellows go through a rigorous process of selection starting with written applications and ending in home visits. To date, we have received 15,000 applications.

Peer Groups

Each Girl Icon Fellow forms a group of 20 Girl Icon Peers to collaborate on creating change together. Currently, Milaan Foundation supports 2,000 peers in two states of India: Madya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Social Action Projects

Each Girl Icon Peer group comes together to collectively impact their communities via three social action projects over the two years long fellowship. By 2017, the fellows will have completed 300 community transformations.
